Mandy Sullivan is a Christian women’s speaker, writer, singer, and perfectly flawed woman of God. She attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, on a vocal music scholarship, majoring in communication and minoring in sociology. Mandy also had the pleasure of studying abroad in London, at the University at Westminster, and the University of London. After college, Mandy moved to Washington state, where she became a full-time Youth and Christian Education Director at a local church. She also served as a counselor in a domestic violence and sexual assault agency. In addition, Mandy grew a successful home-based businesses as a Mary Kay Cadillac Sales Director.
Following a strong calling in her heart and soul, Mandy returned to full-time ministry, and accepted a position as the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministries at a church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In her work and in life, Mandy has felt a passion to speak and write for women to reach them where they are at in their own faith.
In 2017, Mandy started Nurture Her Soul® ministries, growing spiritual journey partnerships with women from all walks of life, who she affectionately refers to as girlfriends. Nurture Her Soul hosts several events throughout the year with the goal of having “A girls’ night out with a purpose to connect, refresh, and nurture your soul.” Mandy is also often asked to speak at other women’s events and conferences. Mandy has an active Facebook community that includes weekly live broadcasts and daily posts where she openly shares life experiences and nuggets of faith that are intended to nurture, love, teach, and inspire.
Throughout her life and career, Mandy’s passion has always been to nurture the souls of women, to help improve their lives and feel better about themselves. Regardless of if that work has been in a church, at a shelter, as a Mary Kay Director or as a speaker and author. Mandy is passionate about sharing her message to women and meeting them where they are at.
Mandy, an Iowa native, grew up in Cedar Falls and currently resides in Cedar Rapids with her husband Tom. Together they have a blended family with five children and one granddaughter. Being passionate about serving others is a family affair. You will often find Mandy’s entire family working one of her events and serving in the community. The family shares a calling to love on their community as demonstrated through their efforts to support and fund additional staffing at a homeless shelter.
