The beauty in the visual of God‘s faithfulness and how the message version of this verse explains it is life-giving. It reminds me how limited my strength is, and this actually gives me peace. I can’t figure things out on my own and I am not capable of a “do it myself” life. Only with God‘s strength. His strength is forever.

🔄 I sat down in attempt to have some quiet time with God this morning, and instead of listening, and instead of talking to him, my mind was hopscotching from one thing to the next that I needed to accomplish. When I was done hopscotching to my to do list for the day, I jumped to the square of how I messed up yesterday. That square led me to anxiety about tomorrow’s list, and I jumped and I hopped a few more squares until I took a breath and realized what I was doing.
So I said to the Lord, I’m sorry. Please quiet my mind. Please shove all my hopping and jumping aside and help me to hear what you have to say to me right now. And so instead of my mind going to all the yuck places once again, I visualized nothing but pure white, and I began to thank him for all that I have, and all that he has already done for me. And as I did that, I heard him. I heard him through the words of a song🧎‍♀️“here’s my life Lord, speak what is true.” So, I’d like to say that every day I wake up and give my day to him, expecting to see him show up, expecting him to provide me with patience and kindness and understanding for all the different people I’m with in my day. But I don’t. However, today I am making the conscience choice to give God this day. ❤️This is my prayer: I give you my day Lord. I need your help. Help me to be the woman you created me to be to the people that I meet throughout this day. Help me to remember who I am because of who you are. Help me not to believe any lies the devil might throw my way. Thank you, thank you, thank you because I know you will answer this prayer.❤️
