DRAWN FROM THE DEEP WATER. WOMAN UP.
House of Hope, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, area place for women that encourages, equips, and empowers women to live fully, is having their annual conference called Woman Up.
Woman Up. will be on Wednesday, November 6, AND Thursday, November 7, from 6:00 – 9:00PM both nights.
On November 6, the feature speaker will be Crystal Woodman Miller. Crystal is a survivor of the 1999 Columbine school shooting where she hid under a table in the library for 7 minutes. That day forever changed her life. Crystal speaks and shares her story as a message of Hope. The common thread woven throughout the fabric of humanity is our shared experience in suffering and hardship. Regardless of race, religion, gender, or geographic location, no one is immune to the difficulties of this life. Therefore, Crystal shares candidly of her own journey of hardship, faith and hope so that it may encourage others in the challenges they face. Crystal also speaks in effort to prevent school violence and to help those who, unfortunately, have already been impacted by it.
On November 7, the feature speaker will be….me! And I am so very excited to share!
